You Have The Ability To Change Your Life
Having a vision for your life requires knowing what’s going on inside your head and working on changing what’s going on in there if you are not getting any closer to realizing your vision.
As a motivational speaker I make every effort to inspire my audiences to understand that they can change their lives.
Creating a vision for your life is truly an inside job. Nobody else can do that for you. So you have to spend a lot of time with yourself and your thoughts.
I just read this question the other day and it really made me stop and think about it: “Does having a vision make you better able to change your life or does being able to change your life make having a vision possible?” It sounds like a riddle, doesn’t it? It’s kind of like “what came first, the chicken or the egg”!
The fact of the matter is, we are all able to change our lives.
We simply have to want that change more than anything else. And, we do have to have an idea of how we want our lives to change. Not the mechanics of how, but the image of what we want it to look like and feel like.
Once you have a vision, then you have to create space in your life for that vision to come into your life.
By that I mean making small changes that shows the universe that you really mean business. That might mean waking up earlier to exercise, or write, or whatever your vision requires. Being able to change and having a vision for the change are interdependent.
Like I said earlier, we all have the ability to change, which means we all have the ability to imagine something different for our lives. Imagination is key. So have some fun and start imagining the way you’d like your life to be. Spend as much time as possible imagining this new life in your head. Before you know it, you’ll start seeing changes happening that indicate your vision is making its way into reality.
