Imagine you are a spy trying to gain entry to an enemy castle.

The castle guards are so used to their daily routine and nothing out of the ordinary happening that they aren’t really tuned into reality.

As a spy, you manage to get behind the castle walls.

Because of the guard’s complacency, they did not do their job effectively.

Have you ever felt like you are on auto-pilot going through the motions of your daily life?

And you are not actually living each day?

Being content and complacent can be dangerous, regardless of your job or daily life.

Complacency is becoming the new trend and it is putting true leadership in a very dangerous position. Some of today’s leaders are growing more and more complacent causing them to slip from the realm of being a true Thought Leader.

By allowing the noise of outside influence to become more dominate, these leaders are losing the ability to shift into second gear.

Complacency lacking the momentum, drive and persistence to keep up with the demands of the ever-changing road that lies ahead of them.

The uncertainty of the bends and turns must become their best friend, before it will literally destroy their careers
and lives.

By using the unknown of the road ahead they can anticipate the unexpected and head on. The adversities of the journey will make or break them.

Skills and practice make talents come alive.

Complacency Kills Dreams.

If you stay comfortable your career will die. The only you can experience true growth is if you reject complacency.

You have to trust yourself.

It all comes down to your comfort zone.

You have to take the risk.

You don’t have to love the risk, but you have to put the trust into someone else to help you build your trust in order to get out of the comfort zone because if you don’t, you’re sabotaging your future.

If you don’t want it, it’s not going to work. But if you want to get better, I promise you it’ll work for you.

Being content and complacent will only get you through your daily routine if you let it.

Do not get too comfortable with your daily life and just getting by.

When you do not try to grow and improve, you cannot expect change to happen.
